About The Crescent Foundation
The Crescent Foundation Incorporated received its 501(C)(3) non-profit designation on December 26, 2007. The Foundation promotes education and social programs targeting the Hillsborough County community designed to address determinants, instill positive reinforcement, scholastic standards, and broad exposure to professional career choices.
The Crescent Foundation, Inc. was created by Tampa Alumni Chapter Gamma Eta Sigma of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., a professional civic and social service organization, in March 2005. The Foundation achieves its mission through donations or funding and grants. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Crescent Foundation has been engaged in community advocacy to combat social determinants such as food insecurity, economic development, health education, and much more
